DluXR10 MOA Front Axle assembly:
High ground clearance.
Injection molded plastic bottom for easy sliding over rocks.
7075 aluminum topper for extreme strength.
7075 aluminum gearbox and link mount.
Snug fit gearbox with increased ground clearance when using smaller motors. Also leaves extra room for links, shocks, etc...
7075 aluminum upper link mount with 3 mounting holes to adjust your anti-squat to your liking.
Heat treated alloy steel axle shafts with 8mm outputs for the ultimate in strength and weight savings. No axle nuts to come loose.
Dlux AR60 Style Ultralight knuckles for the ultimate in light weight and strength.
Heat treated alloy steel gears and gear shaft.
Large bearings to handle extreme shock loads and keep the gears in perfect mesh. The smallest bearings are 5x10x4 and 5x11x3.
Versatile behind the axle battery tray fits many popular sizes of batteries. If larger batteries are needed they can go on top using our standard 2.2 DluXR10 battery mount.
Intagrated behind the axle servo mount.
7075 Tube extension for wider link and shock mounts.
Made to fit Stumpy Motors. Larger motors will fit by relocating the servo and battery using our standard 2.2 DluXR10 parts.
Link and shock mounts moved outward for stability.
Uses standard AR60 inner axle shafts (with 8mm stubs shafts).
Axle weight: Front 356g, Rear 338g
Wheel mounting surface to wheel mounting surface width: 12 3/4" (324mm) with .225 hubs
Pinion size Range: 10-16 tooth, 48 pitch
Gear Ratio 18.5:1 with a 37T Spur
37/(Pinion)X18.5 = final drive ratio
37/10t =3.7 x 18.5 = 68.5 final drive ratio
Recommended motor/pinion combo examples:
1800KV Stumpy motor, 10T pinion, 4S battery
1800KV Stumpy motor, 11T pinion, 3s battery
Interchangeability with stock XR10 parts is limited, but here is the list:
Gears and gear shaft are interchangeable. Dlux front and rear axle use Axial front gear shaft.
Axle shafts are interchangeable with XR10 axles when using a front housing in the rear. Dlux lockouts required.
Gearbox, axle topper, and link mount are interchangeable with XR10 axles (must be used together due to the larger bearings). Must use Dlux axle shafts and lockouts. Some light Dremel work required.
Gearbox could be made to work with XR10 axles with a little bit of Dremel work. Not recommended due to the small bearing outside the 22T gear.
