Rear axle shafts made from carbon steel. These shafts are giant 7mm in diameter with 8mm stub shafts. I dont think you will be bending a stub shaft with these again!
Comes with:
Axle shafts
Bearings
Wheel hubs
Locker
Hex pins
Ring and pinion
You MUST use an aluminum housing to run these axles.
You MUST drill out the axle tube to fit these. The shafts measure approx .275" diameter so something like a 9/32" (.281) will work great if youre accurate enough or you might have to go bigger if youre not accurate.
If youre running a Currie style axle, you will need to bore out the ends of the tubes so the new MONSTER bearings can fit.
If you want to send me your axles, I can have these fully assembled for you or I can just do the machining to make the parts work and you can assemble them.
Yeti rear axles will want the 600 size hub to be wide enough for the front.
The locker is tight on the non ring gear side. You will need to lightly tap in the shaft from that side.
Hubs are threaded for M3. If you use a wheel that uses a 4-40 thread, you will need some scale hardware so they will fit. I use these:https://lockeduprc.3dcartstores.com/M3-x-10mm-Scal...
Hub sizes are approx:
0 offset stainless approx 9.775"
225 offset approx 10.375"
350 offset approx 10.625"
475 offset approx 10.875"
600 offset approx 11.125"
